For the last six weeks before the summer break in 1938, we had to attend the Jewish school on Grosse Sperlgasse. In my secondary school, on Obere Donaustrasse, there were four Jewish girls by the name of Kitty. All four then had to go to the Jewish school on Grosse Sperlgasse. My brother had fled to Switzerland, and my mom told me, „You have to leave, as well, somehow“.
