During quarantine ,due to the Covid-19 pandemic, two students discover an old cassette player and listen to the story of a hidden child of the German Occupation. A lesson plan developed by 3 German teachers and translated by Yael Meisler, Israeli teacher. You can use this lesson plan while viewing the film, Zahor - Remember.
The broad theme of these lessons is human connection, and a more specific theme is promises: how people keep promises, or don’t, and what happens in either situation. Students are asked to look at:
· individual promises they make and want to keep for themselves
· the commitment we make to keeping the traditions of our communiites;
On the 31th of March 2021, within the project „Meet me halfway (meet me in Vienna)", the students involved in it from Liceul Teoretic "Iulia Hasdeu", from Lugoj, are collaborating and meeting online with the students from Vestal Senior High School, New York, USA. The students from both schools have made a series of activities beforehand starting from the documentaries created by Centropa. During this meeting, the students had been discussing and presenting their own conclusions.
