Albert and Christina Benvinisti

This is my brother Albert Benvinisti with his wife Christina in Sofia in the 1940s. The photo was taken before they left for Israel, where they lived for 13 years and got the Israeli citizenship. My brother had different occupations when he lived in Bulgaria. He was even a truck-driver and he transported leftovers from restaurants to animal farms. He [now] works for a machine trade company in Israel and his work there is highly valued. He travels often to Bulgaria because of his job and usually stays here for a couple of months, so we manage to see each other then. As far as I know, the firm couldn't do it without him, so he goes on travelling from Bulgaria to Israel and back again. This picture was taken at Nardono Sabranie Square in Sofia. You can see Sofia University in the background of the photo.
