This is a picture of my family, taken outside our house in Breznica in 1927. When we opened an inn we put a table in the yard. At the table in front of the house are sitting my oldest sister Tonci Berkovic (nee Kleinmannova), my brother Iosef Kleinmann and then there are Helena Friedmanová and Dulet Friedmanová. The Friedmans were our neighbours, they lived in our village. My mother Ester Kleinmannova (nee Gruenwaldova) is standing on the steps; I?m next to her. On this photo I am six years old.
