Mikhail Gitin with his son Grigoriy Gitin

This is my mother's brother Mikhail Gitin with his son Grigoriy Gitin. They had their picture taken as per my request and sent it to me and my brother. The photo was taken in Krivoy Rog in 1947. My mother's family was large, and I don't remember the names of all the children. One of my mother's older brothers was called Mikhail. She had several brothers, but I don't remember all of them. When the sons grew up they became farmers. The younger, Joseph was involved in viniculture. He rented a large vinery, where he cultivated vintage sorts of grapes. The rest of my mother's brothers grew wheat. All of them were married. Unfortunately, it was such a long time ago, and I don't remember the names of their wives and children. We saw each other very rarely, when some of them came to Moscow. In 1941 Mikhail and his son Grigoriy were drafted into the lines. Both of them were front-line solders, were wounded, but came back home alive.
