Olga Neuwirthova

This is my mother Olga Neuwirthova, nee Bondyova.

My mother had tuberculosis when she was young and that ruined my grandparents. The treatment cost them all their fortune, however, my mother recovered in Switzerland and at Semmering, Austria.

My mother's first husband was Doctor Emil Neuwirth, my father. He comes from Zilina. My mother's first marriage didn't last long. Her husband caught typhus and later he became mentally ill; he was treated in a psychiatric clinic. My mother stayed alone with me, later she got divorced and got married to a Russian immigrant. He wasn't a Jew. His name was Doctor Sergej Panov and he was a doctor, too.
