This photograph was taken at the end of the 1950s. The picture shows me with my Spartak automobile.

It was a very good car, very reliable. I bought it in the year 1957. I don't know anymore where my first trip was to, but for sure we also drove to Zilina, to my wife’s parents’. The Spartak was manufactured by Skoda. This car served me until 1962, and after it came another Skoda. I ended with Skodas for good in 1970. At that time I bought a Zigula. Then a Lada followed. It was a powerful car, 1600 cc. I was very happy with it, it went on forever. I didn't have to touch the motor for 17 years!
