Rebeca and Moritz Assa

This is me and my husband Moritz in London in 1968. My husband was sent to London as a commercial attache in 1968. In the building in Hyde Park near which we had this photo taken, picture sales were held every Sunday. We lived in London for five years. My husband was dealing with the whole commercial exchange between the United Kingdom and Bulgaria, and he managed to increase it several times over. His colleagues still remember him. We lived in London with our three children, Isak, Maer and Margarita. Meanwhile, my daughter got married and had a baby, and I looked after the child. My older son also got married and I looked after his child, also. All my five grandchildren speak perfect English. We came back to Bulgaria for eight years, and then went to London again for three years because my husband was again needed as a commercial attache.
