Women from Alexander Bachnar's family

In this photograph is my wife Jozefina, beside her, first on the right, is my aunt Nelli Rosenthalova. Beside my wife, and the second from the left, is my sister Ela (Stankova, nee Bachnerova). The last is Eli, one of my cousins who survived. In 1953 I got married. My wife wasn't Jewish. She was named Jozefina and was born in 1931. We met at work. She worked as a secretary at the editorial offices of Praca . In this way we had quite a bit in common. She came from this one quite devout Catholic family. As far as my family goes, my siblings didn't care at all that she wasn't Jewish. They accepted her very well.
